Kim-studio owner, BarreAmped Advanced Instructor
I have so many people want to know “my story.” Why me? Why barre?
I have always been into exercise. Whether it be taking fitness classes or just walking miles on a backroad. Count me in!
My story goes a little something like this: I had been doing Crossfit for 2 years but I had been researching and was really wanting to try barre. I was just so dang nervous and did not want to go alone!
A sweet friend of mine called me up and said she had found a studio and that we should go take a class.
The night before my first class, I barely slept. I kid you not. I was so nervous.
Before I even finished my first class I knew. I knew I wanted to teach barre. I loved it that much. I was hooked. Like wanted to share it with everyone. But how? Not me. No way. I teach small children not women. I even tried to talk myself out of it several times. But, I kicked that self-doubt to the curb and decided to be the girl who went for it!
I have completed Level 1 & Level 2 (Advanced Certifications) as well as Band Sculpt, Bootcamp, and Tabata style class certifications. I look forward to every single class I teach!

When I am not at the barre, you can find me teaching preschool or making headbands for my Etsy shop. My other hobbies include shopping and gardening.
I have been married to my wonderful husband Tyler for 9 years and we have 2 children: Rome (6) and Livy Sue (5).

Beckie has always led a very active lifestyle. However, even through 4 half marathon trainings and working out countless hours in gyms, she never found the types of results she has found with Barre Amped.

“To be honest, before my first class I didn’t even know what Barre was. Once the music and class started, I was hooked. Only after a few classes I could tell a difference. I felt stronger, more flexible, and more core strength. Even better than that, was the mind body connection that I felt. I am very passionate about barre and was blown away at how effective it is. I only wish I had discovered it earlier in my life.”

Beckie can’t wait to get to the Barre. Whether it’s her day to teach or not. You will find her in a class every single day. ‘It’s more than just a class..we are a family.”

Beckie is certified in All Level 1 & 2 formats as well as Bootcamp, Tabata and Band Sculpt. She loves the burn and challenge that each class offers.

When she is not at the Barre, she can be found piddling in photography, playing fixer upper, shopping, or traveling {and she often finds barre studios in different areas of the country to drop in and visit.}

She is married to her wonderful husband Rick of 28 years. She has 5 children and 4 grandchildren.
