Detailed Class Descriptions: All of our classes are form focused to ensure you get the most out of every class. Each class is taught by a highly trained and certified instructor who will encourage you and ensure you are practicing safely and effectively. We are a neutral spine studio which means that our workouts are done with our body’s alignment and anatomy as number one priority to protect the body from injury and impact.
Our Barre Bootcamp combines traditional Barre techniques that tone, tighten and lengthen with interval training to burn fat and guarantee results – fast. This class combines classic Barre with several feel good/ low impact cardio intervals. All levels are welcome. (However, bootcamp is not recommended for a first time client) A heavy leg based class mixed with floor and core work, this program relies on interval style training to shake up your workouts and keep your muscles guessing.
Barre Band Sculpt:
Band Sculpt is our newest efficient and effective workout that incorporates resistance bands. In this workout you can expect to use the resistance band in compound exercises which will work more of your body in a shorter amount of time! You will find a new challenge and different burn in this class as muscles will be recruited to work and stabilize in an entirely different way!
Band Sculpt is a 45 minute class format.
Rev up your metabolism, torch calories & burn serious fat with this Tabata style class which combines classic barre exercises with short bursts of cardio; 20 seconds on, 10 seconds off for 4 minutes. As we say in class, “You can do anything for 20 seconds!” This class works every muscle & you will leave feeling worked and refreshed. We want to keep energy high and sweat rolling so every class will be unique.
You can expect each blitz class to be challenging and keep your muscles shaking and guessing! Class will combine classic barre moves from all of our different class formats mixed with feel good cardio intervals.
As a reward for your hard work, a 15 minute extended power stretch and relaxation sequence will be offered at the end of the Saturday class!
Tabata Barre Express
If you’ve got 45 minutes and are looking for full body, calorie burning workout with cardio bursts, then this class is for you! Expect to get your heart rate up and sweat it out! Cardio/Work intervals will be 1 minute with 20 second rest repeated for 2 rounds.
When Barre & Yoga flow into one class you get Barre Flow! Yes, please! This is our NEW format that combines elements of Barre and will end with intentional yoga so that you get the best of both worlds.
Barre Fire is our toughest, most intense class. It builds and relies heavily on the client’s proven technique, flexibility, and strength. Barre Fire is intense but addictive. Full range of motion moves, quick transitions, elements of cardio, and advanced dynamic stretching produce the fastest body changing results. Fire is sure to bring the shake! We encourage you to take at least 10 regular Barre Basic classes before taking Fire.
Calm the mind and body with a restorative yoga class that promotes relaxation, restoration, and rejuvenation. Restorative yoga is a gentle, yet challenging slow paced class that uses a series of easy poses that require no muscular exertion. You can expect passive stretching with poses that put no strain on your muscles. Each pose is held for several minutes and deeply supported by props-blankets, blocks and straps. As an added bonus, essential oils will be used/offered in this class. Please let instructor know if you have any allergies to EO.
Coordinate movements with your breathing to flow from one pose to the next in our Yoga Flow class. This beginner friendly class will teach and introduce traditional yoga poses and yogic breathing, all while mentally and physically challenging each client. As an added bonus, essential oils will be used/offered in this class. Please let instructor know if you have any allergies to EO. Each class will end with an extended savanna and a short meditation reading.
Join us for a mat Pilates class where we will explain and practice Pilates specific moves. Students will build core strength and flexibility of movement that will not only enhance your performance in other forms of exercise but will help with posture, balance and skeletal alignment.
You will learn foundations and basic principals that will help you move along at your own pace and get you comfortable with the practice of Pilates. Once you understand and can perform these basic moves, your core will be stronger and you will move onto more difficult exercises with confidence and ease.
Aerobics & Step
High energy//low impact
“Aerobics” is a word we don’t hear much any more, but all it means is getting your cardio into a steady state for maximum impact and health benefits. This class will combine contagious energy, beats, and simple fitness moves that you are sure to love!
You will need to wear a pair of clean, indoor tennis shoes for this class!
